"Viewer Beware" Indeed!

Maybe this blog is kind of a rip-off, but I got the idea to do recap reviews of our favorite childhood show! Yes, Goosebumps!

Well, I namely got the idea from this guy, who did reviews of each Goosebumps book. Now, I'm not in a situation right now where I can blog every single day. But I'll try to shoot for once a week (which means an episode a week).

While I don't particularly hate the show, I have seen so many episodes with poor acting, cheesy writing and dreadful effects that make me laugh rather than pee my pants.

With that in mind, know that I buy EVERY DVD of the show that I find. It is embarrassing to admit this, and even more perplexing considering that I wouldn't consider myself a mega fan of the show today. 

I think I got into the habit of buying each DVD in 6th grade, when I became addicted to the show after my teacher and cousin showed me various episodes of the show. I had read the book series, so the TV show at the time was so edgy and exciting to me!

The first DVD I bought was "The Ghost Next Door" (I had already seen the first part of that episode in school but not the second). And then it was "Cry of the Cat" (one I had never seen before so of course I had to buy it!).

Oh yeah! If you're wondering how a 6th grader can afford to buy DVD's of this show, it's because my local Wal-Mart sold them for $5 each in a DVD discount bin. Lol.

I forgot which one I bought next but my Goosebumps DVD collection now stands at:

5. Welcome to Dead House
6. The Blob that Ate Everyone
7. One Day At Horrorland
8. The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight
9. Monster Blood
10. A Night In Terror Tower
11. Return of the Mummy
12. The Haunted Mask (VHS)

Lol. 

And I checked out a few DVD's from my local library (which is where I saw a ton more episodes). 

So let's get to it!
